Our story
Kissner Motors is a family-owned, independent used car dealership at 2584 Hwy 6 & 50 in Grand Junction, Colorado. For more than two decades we've helped Western Slope drivers buy, sell, trade, finance and service the trucks, SUVs and cars that fit their lives.
Steve Kissner opened the dealership in the spring of 2001 (incorporated as Kissner, Inc.). Many longtime locals still remember it as Jensen-Kissner Motors. The idea was simple: a hometown lot where Grand Valley families could find a dependable vehicle and deal with people they'd see again at the grocery store.
Twenty-five years later, Kissner Motors is still family owned and family run. Steve still owns the business, and you'll find several members of the Kissner family working in the office, the service drive and the detail shop.
What's changed is how much we do for our customers. We've grown into a full-service dealership with a large selection of used trucks, 4x4s and AWD SUVs built for mountain winters, an in-house finance team, a service department, a consignment program and online tools that let you do most of the work from your couch.
